Exams, Mini-Exams, and Interviews
All learners take a full exam at the end of the second and fourth quarters. Matriculants take a preliminary exam at the end of the third quarter.
Learners usually take a mini-exam on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to a set schedule. This encourages learners to maintain a consistent study pattern throughout the year.
A year mark is calculated using the results of three continuous assessments, along with the exams. After each cycle and exam, parents receive a report on the learner’s progress.
Although technology cannot replace a teacher, it is an extremely important tool, and every classroom is equipped with a computer with full internet access and a data projector that visually displays the curriculum in full color.
Parent Evenings
All grade parents’ evenings are held in the first quarter. Each parents’ evening is indicated on the school calendar for each quarter.
Interviews
Interviews can be arranged during office hours by appointment with the principal, deputy principals, and heads of department.
The deputy principals and heads of department are responsible as guardians for specific grades and subjects. These individuals will assist you with any problem concerning a learner in a particular grade or subject. Subject-specific problems are discussed with the respective subject head, and general problems with the grade guardian.
Parents are always welcome to visit the school. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment so that the necessary information can be prepared and to ensure the availability of the relevant person.
